Ankeny Circle of Faith

At our meeting yesterday, we learned that we will be building a home for Johnte Ware and her family. Johnte's new home will be at 1332 Jefferson in Des Moines.

In addition to being the mother of six of her own children, Johnte is adopting five of her sister's children. Needless to say, this is going to mean building a larger house than Habitat normally builds.

This exciting new challenge means that we are going to need lots more help, both in terms of financial support and volunteers. Our next meeting is on February 12th at 4:00 in the OLIH Library. If you would like to help please come to the meeting and lend your support.
